Safe Exchange Zone
The Mascotte Police Department offers a Safe Exchange Zone located in the front parking lot of the police department. This area is under video surveillance and is available to the public as a safer location for custody exchanges, online marketplace transactions, or other in-person meetings that may benefit from a secure setting.While the area is monitored by security cameras 24/7, officers are not assigned to actively oversee exchanges. If an emergency arises, individuals are encouraged to call 9-1-1 immediately.
