Citizen Firearm Safety Course

The Mascotte Police Department is sharing the scheduled 2026 dates for our Citizen Firearm Safety Course. These FREE courses are taught by certified law enforcement firearm instructors and meet Florida Concealed Weapon License training requirements.
📅 Course Dates (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM):
• May 10, 2026
• May 23, 2026
Course instruction includes firearm safety, range safety, carry statutes, and fundamental shooting techniques. Firearms and ammunition are provided.
Additional information will be shared in the future, including details on an upcoming Rifle Familiarization Course focused on the long-gun platform.
