⛈️ 𝐒𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐖𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐄𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭 – 𝟑.𝟏𝟔.𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 ⛈️
A Slight Risk for Severe Storms is forecast across East Central Florida today, with the potential for strong storms this afternoon and evening.
What to Expect:
• Scattered strong storms may develop this afternoon. A broken line of storms is expected to move through the area along a cold front from mid-afternoon through the evening.
• Damaging wind gusts are the primary concern, with gusts of 45–55 mph possible and about a 15% chance for winds exceeding 60 mph.
• Heavy rain and frequent lightning may occur with stronger storms.
• A limited tornado risk (around 2%) exists.
• Large hail is possible, including hail around quarter-size in stronger storms.
