The Mascotte Police Department is currently searching for an individual who fled from a traffic stop. The individual is described as a white male, approximately 5’8”, in his late 40s, wearing a blue or light gray T-shirt and tan shorts. Officers are actively working in the area, and we ask residents and motorists to avoid Forrest Lane, Covington Road, South Bluff Lake Road, and Pablo Island Drive while the search is ongoing. Mascotte Charter has been notified, and this situation may affect bus routes in the area.
