Important Update regarding 9-12-24 shooting on Centennial.
Officers have not been able to provide staff further updates as the witness and victim have not been cooperating. Because of this officers have not been able to identify a suspect or motive. They do feel however that this is a isolated incident a feel is it safe for those in the area to resume normal activites.
Important Announcement:
At 5:00 p.m. today, September 12, 2024, city staff were notified of a shooting that occurred on Centennial Drive in Lake Jacksonridge at approximately 4:40 p.m. It is currently unclear if this was a drive-by shooting or whether the shooter has fled on foot or by vehicle.
We urge all residents in the area to lock your doors and remain vigilant. While there is no immediate reason to panic, we ask that you exercise caution and stay alert.
