[ARCHIVED] Hurricane Milton Updates

In preparation for Hurricane Milton,  which is developing over the Gulf of Mexico, the City of Mascotte will be providing sandbags for residents. Bags are self-serve and you must bring your own shovel.  Due to limited quantity, sandbags are for residents only. "LIMIT 10 bags per household. 

Sandbag location: 161 Knight St., Mascotte FL 34573

Bags are available Monday and Tuesday (October 7th and 8th 2024) from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM while supplies last.

Additional Sandbag Locations

County sandbag locations are open daily from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. There is a limit of 10 bags per day per household. Sand and bags will be available on-site - residents should bring their own shovels and will need to fill their own bags. Assistance will be onsite at two locations for those who need help filling and loading their bags.
