As of 7:45 AM this morning the following are the newest updates with regards to the storm.
The Lake County EOC has notified staff that they are starting their post assessments.
Town Closures
City offices will reopen on our next scheduled business day, which is Monday, September 30,th at 7:00 AM.
State of Emergency
Governor Ron DeSantis has issued a State of Emergency for counties including Lake County. Last night Mayor Sheffield signed the emergency order for the City of Mascotte.
Sandbags
The sandbag location has been closed. Residents still in need, may visit the Lake County Emergency Management page on the county’s website for other locations at www.lakecountyfl.gov/Emergency-Management
Schools
Lake County schools and district offices have reopened today for normal operation.
County Operations
All offices of the Lake County Board of County Commissioners have reopened for regular business operations,
Trash Collection
GFL is picking up trash this morning. as normal for those with a Friday pickup schedule.
Citizen Information Line
The County's Citizens Information Line (CIL) is open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Citizens who need information are encouraged to call the line at 352-253-9999 for assistance. 9-1-1 should only be used to request emergency aid.
